A horror sub-genre dedicated to the livelihood of objects. Drawing the portraits of journeys objects take once they have reached the end of their social interaction with humans. This genre explores visualising horror aesthetically in objects which can evoke ‘detached fear’ insomuch as we do not directly associate with the object in comparison to a human protagonist. It explores ways of bringing the current culture of fear one step further, by focusing on things that humans cannot alter, things which cannot be constituted in a mere human experience, but which are alive throughout the whole of human existence.
