In this series, I’ve experimented with light and shadows. My intention here was creating a certain eerie atmosphere and experiencing how viewers might react to it. The reason I have called it by Stephen King as I was influenced by his way of story telling, by breaking down characters layer by layer and bringing out the terror within. With these photos, I aim to show a gradual build up of emotions the longer you look at one photo. The influence of intense single tone and two tone colours as well as the deep contrast and shallow depth aim to create this unfamiliar atmosphere where viewers would ponder around what the story behind might be.
