I am a multi-disciplinary designer with specific interest in designing around cross-cultural boundaries. I aim to explore and dig deep into people’s relationships with each other as well as with objects. I am curious as to how design can come into play in disrupting routines and how we might utilize this methodology to make way for a better, more sustainable future, whilst ensuring that the process is both fun and engaging!
Motivation
Having grown up in Malaysia and having lived in student dorms and flat shares in the U.K., I have gained a deep interest in exploring our behavioural interactions with food. Our knowledge of food and the food chain system is scarce and needs intervening. I am involved in two food waste-related projects, where I founded Food Waste Watch during my master’s program, and co-founded Honest Foods Blog during the COVID pandemic. I am passionate and driven to create long-lasting change by raising awareness about food sustainability and food waste. I have since had the opportunity to collaborate with amazing and inspiring businesses and individuals. Please don’t hesitate to reach out should you want to have a chat or to talk about a project. |
