From attending the colour course for a semester at Pratt Institute, I have produced a pattern textile based on my personal impression of a New York rooftop garden. The intention I have had for the application ranges from a wrap skirt or even sheer stockings.
I began with a 6 by 6 colour palette based on the colours I saw in the environment I was in.
Below is the final manipulated pattern as well as the printed version on the fabric charmeuse. Furthermore there are some example applications suggested for the pattern.

ENVIRONMENTAL AND EMOTIONAL REFLECTION
This colour exercise had allowed me to exercise extensive visual reflection through drawing visual and emotional components in to the digital creations I have made based on a rooftop farm I visited in New York. This had allowed me to pursue new skills including textile research and garment making whilst also considering the impact of certain materials and patterns on our emotions.
